New study concludes human-induced warming has erased 2,000+ years of Arctic cooling - what are your thoughts?

My thoughts are, how in the hell do these guys still argue about whether this is real? How much evidence is needed? Do they really believe what they do or are they knowingly orchestrating their defense for purely political reasons, or to save face?
