How can I build up my credit?

I'm 18 years old and I currently pay my houses cable bill and my cell phone bill. I always pay ahead of time to avoid any mishaps. I need to build up my credit so I won't have to get a co-signer again to get my student loans approved in the future. What's the best/fastest way to do this?
