India as new Superpower in 2020?

Woah, as an Indian who's lived in both India and the United States, I can tell you that any "plan" promoted by a politician like the president is bound to move into obstacles... I can definitely see India as an economic power by 2040, and a military power shortly before that... but not as soon as 2020... India has a country has a lot of issues to tackle, and i don't think rushing is going to help. By 2050, I doubt India is going to worry about the United States, its definitely going to be competing with China... and a host of many other nations that will gain prominence like Brazil, Russia, and others.
