Friends problem- accused of stealing! I need advise!!!?

I have a good friend(mel), who has a friend (Rhonda. We both spent the night a Rhonda's, like 3 years ago, along with 2 guys. Rhonda was missing 200$. Of course I did not take it, and I was never accused of it, until recently! Mel told Rhonda about a website that me and Mel are starting, and rhonda is all of a sudden accusing me of stealing this, now $300 (yes it went up 100$), and saying that she remembers me "standing over her to see if she was asleep, then rumaging through her things"!! The bad part, mel 'doesn't know what to believe"! Im upset and mad, any advise?
